If i want to see that on my pc ,which application is running on which port,how can i see it.

There are many tools can do this.
you can use the Port Reporter of MS
I'm using the active port.

Installing software is fine.
Can some information of this can be got through our command prompt only,without installing the software.

The "netstat" command works on Windows and Unix systems.
