My iPod is challenging me

Hi.
I noted something wrong with my iPod Nano (2 generation).
Some songs aren't in where are supposed to be (some songs start with 'T' letter are shown before songs start with 'P').
I removed trouble-makers songs from the iPod and added them again, they took their old places.
Any ideas?

Is it doing something special with songs starting with "The"?

For example:
Music -> Artists ->
The Korgis
Lionel Richie
Nelly Furtado
The Pussycat Dolls
I removed all songs of The Korgis, The PCD from iPod.
The iPod doesn't have those artists any more, I added them again, they took the same old order.
