Hi folks,

Can any one explain me (or point me to any link) which contains information about Absolute Mouse Mode and Relative Mouse Mode. I know little bit about the two mode

Absolute Mouse Mode
  • Absolute Mouse Mode is used under Windows OS
  • In this mouse mode mouse co-ordinates are taken as its current position


  • Relative Mouse Mode
  • Relative Mouse Mode is used under Linux OS
  • In this mouse mode mouse co-ordinates are taken as the difference between previous position and current position


  • I need to know the pros and cons of both the mouse modes?
