Can I run PHP in J2EE web servers? Does PHP work with AJAX? Can I call Java classes from PHP?

You question basiclaly reads: How much better is JSP than HTML?

PHP is a serverside language like Java, .NET, ASP, etc. It is not used to replace HTML.

Eric, I just heard that you can build a website very quickly using PHP, which is much better than using HTML. Can I use AJAX (even Flex) with it?

You can't compare PHP to HTML. PHP renders HTML. If you need dynamic content then you need a server side language (PHP). If not, static HTML is all you need. But no matter what, you end up with HTML.

So it is similar to JSP. Which free web server supports PHP?

 Ever here of Google? It's this awesome search engine that lets you find out all sorts of common information all over the web.

Since this isn't really an HTML/JavaScript question anymore then I'm moving this to the General Computing forum. Also, you might want to take a look at www.php.net as well as www.phpbuilder.com Both are wonderful sites with loads of info on PHP.
