Did anyonw know about OpenLdap.
I am not getting how the values / attributes are added in OpenLdap.
My Server is working and all commands are also working, but for "ldapadd" it is giving problems
ldapadd: update failed: cn=Jennifer J Jensen,dc=example,dc=com
ldap_add: No such object (32)
Can anyone help me in this context:

What is the naming context for your LDAP server? Is it really dc=example,dc=com? If so, did you load that context before loading the person entry? Did that add succeed?

Check your ldapManager ip is properly given and your are getting ldapManager object from naming context.
//ldap server
InitialContext ic = new InitialContext();
String ip = (String)ic.lookup(JNDINames.LDAPSERVER_IP);
ldapManager = new LDAPManager(ip);

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
