Hi,
I am issuing an search in active directory using JNDI.
However all that are being returned are the first 1000 elements.
Has anyone come up with a way to view the subsequent values?
Regards,
Barry

This is a restriction by AD. 1000 objects is the default setting. You can change this by using a command-line utility 'ntdsutil.exe'

Hi there,

Sorry for the late reply. We dont require any server side setting to achive
the same a small change in the client program which queries the ldap/AD will
achive the same. AD supports an extended control calle PageResultControl , which can found in the JNDI Booster pack provided as an addon plugin by SUN
The code for using the PageResultControl can be found the Sun's JNDI forum
