Is it possible if you have a https connection with a server to see the encrypted message from the server or the encrypted message to the server?

Not unless someone breaks the encryption. If you're ever in doubt whether a connection is actually encrypted, then a tool like Ethereal can show quickly if the HTTP traffic is encrypted or not.
