Authentication on Active Directory without having to inform login/pass again

Hi,

All the users from my application use Microsoft Windows as operational system. So, they all have a network user id and password from Active Directory.

I'd like to know if there is a way these users could access my application (web or desktop) with the login they already informed when they logged in on the network. They shouldn't have to inform login and password again to enter the application, because they get this information from Active Directory they already have logged.

Is there a way to do that, in a Java application?

Thank you.
