Hi Guys,
Cleared SCJP.....half an hour back........Not really with a very good percentage..far below my expectations...I got around 70%...The hard work I had put in...I expected a lot more..I am not really very ecxited....little sad...
Anyways,I want to thank everyone for there support and thanks to AJITH,MAHA,MAPA,PAUL....Travis,ye and lots more list is endless.....
About the exam is not as easy as it seems in mocks...no mock really compares to the exam difficulty.....Well,Exam is not tough .....actually it is tricky...speacially threads....I got 100% in IO,AWT,UTIL and 0% in GC and 42% in threads...well rest is all same as what others say......I just wish I had got more percentage......watch out for time guys....I had some 10 mins to review the whole stuff.........
All the best guys!!!And AJITH I am Sorry for the tiff with Gautam that day........
Thanks again,
Harpal

hi Harpal
Sat Sri Akal.
I know what you mean ...when you say that youre a bit disapponted .I too had the sae experience .i too had a 0% in GC so i think you got the same questions as me ....ambiguous and hard to say what they wanted .
I think the problem was that I concentrated on the Mocks on the net .most of them seemed to cover the old SCJP pattern very well but for the new one....well we know now...
chal then
All the best

Dear Pranav,Anirudh,
Thanks a lot yaar,Gc was ambigous.....I thought the GC works only after method returns as in Sun example ques...but that was wrong answer.....I even had one ques where it was what is the result on line 24...where as line 24 was blank and the last line in code....and in one place i think I put "xyz" in quotes where as i think u had to just write xyz....I could have scored more.....anyways,all the best anirudh........Pranav,I think we both are in same boat.....

Hi! Harpal,
First congraaats for ur SCJP2, I think its waste of money if u take SCJP once more just to improve the scoring. Why becos
1) If u get less than 70%(I wish it will not happen) then what ur going to do?
2) If u get around 75% then whats the use in taking and preparing scjp from the groundup again to get 5% more?
So think about it.

Congratulations , Harpal , it is really a good score. Don't bother about it is a bad score. You are now priviledged member of SCJP luminiaries. That is the best part. Now , it's a party time. Have great time. All the very best for the future.

Hi Harpal!
Congrats. Don't bother about the score. The important thing is that you are a SCJ2P .

Congrats Harpal,
Welcome to the SCJP club my friend. I had a feeling that you would make it. I was waiting on your e-mail and when I didn't receive it I feared things might have gone well on the exam. But I am glad that I was wrong.
Don't worry about the score I thought I would score higher also.
By the way I also got 0% in GC.
Enjoy it, but remember now the real work begins. I've really started working with servlets, JSP, JavaBeans and JDBC alot now. I held off because I wanted to get through the exam first. We have so much to learn if I can ever be of any assistance let me know.
Regards,

Dear Mr. Harpal
Hi,
Firstly let me congratulate you on becoming a SCJP.I was looking for help . In the exams did you get questions where in you had to write the code or most of the questions were with check boxes wherein you had to select the right answer(s). I am new to Java and presently learning Java.
Any other SCJP also willing to give inputs is also welcome as this would all of us who are preparing.
