Is it really comparatively easy to get a Java programming job with a pass on SCJP? Does SCJP really help?

Rajesh,
Are you speaking through some real life experience or is it just a hunch?

Sandeep, I am talking about the real life experience. In my opinion, I think it should be easier to get a JAVA programming job than without SCJP though the job may just be a junior level, which is still not bad, considering that I myself is really very junior in JAVA. Perhaps, I need to clear the SCJD as well.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
