This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
WOOHOO, passed the exam this morning. Missed 4 questions, and knowing my luck, they are probably the 4 questions I changed . Breakdown is the same that you have seen hundreds of times here so I won't repeat it. I will say, DO AS MANY MOCKS AS POSSIBLE. Those were the biggest help. There are so many questions that were close to mock exam questions, and once you miss a question once, you tend to remember it. The questions I missed: 1 in Threads 1 in Declarations and access control 2 in Overloading, overriding, and OO. Well it is nice to get that out of the way. Now I can finally start reading about JSP and Servlets or something like that without feeling guilty . Bill
Congrats!! Bill, Good Job. Do you know any site which have questions(Mock Exams) topic wise like Declaration, thread, IO, etc.? If yes, Please give me the link. Did you get any Fill in the blanks ? If yes, on what topic. What's your impression about Jplus ? Is it is close to real exam ? I am not confident about Util, IO and Layouts, do you have any suggestions : How can I prepare these portions. thanks in advance. Ish
