I passed!

I passed the programmer certification exam yesterday with a 71%. I took a Java course at college this past fall, which was required for my Associate's degree. The teacher focused on the fundamentals and what we needed to know for the exam. Unfortunately, we only coded 3 programs, and nothing using GUI. We also only quickly touched on layout managers and painting, so most of what I needed to know, I had to learn on my own. I read a couple of books, and took tons of mock exams, and read lots of tutorials, but I still feel that I wasn't quite prepared for that exam! My advice to anyone thinking of trying it - CODE, CODE, CODE! There were so many questions asking what happens when you try to compile and run this code. I have 8 months programming experience, but with COBOL and Natural, so my job did not help me in any way.
