I really don't know whether to make announcement of such a low score on this forum or not.
It is indeed a very low score.
Well, I made mistakes on topics of thread and java.util
I wrongly interpreted the questions on java.util.
Anyway I just want to ask all of you
does this score has any value in the market?
How much weightage is given to the marks in the job opptunities? Or just certification is enough, marks are not that important?
I am a Comp Engineer with 6 years of experience in Oracle. and now I have given this exam.

Hi Varsha,
I really don't think any weightage will be given to the percentage of marks in the market. I think all it matters is whether you are certified or not - although getting a high % makes you feel better.
But, you are certified now and enjoy your success. Congrats.

Yeah, all that matters is that you passed - it's a bit of an unfair exam in a way... my friend failed by 1%, but if she'd gone in the next day and done the test again I'm sure she would have passed.

Congratulations Varsha, you don't hang the score on your wall, just the certificate
I'm going to move this over to the Certification Results forum.

you're right, that is a low passing score.
Don't worry though,it will not be on your Certificate!

I do have advice for people taking the exam. Do not regard your score as a religious issue. This is a nice credential to have and it is great if you pass, then move on with your life! I passed the exam with a pretty good score but if it would have been low, then so be it. This test does not define how you will do as a programmer or in life. Many high level developers do not know the answers to some of these questions before studying. Use this test to get your foot in the door if you have no experience, nothing more.

Varsha thank you for posting your score. I am taking the test on Friday, and I am worried that I will get a low score. I am pretty confident that I will pass, but I thought that percentage did have an effect on your job opportunities.
But by you posting here, and the responses from others, made me feel better about taking the test, and I only need to concentrate on passing the test, and not to stress myself on getting a high percentage.
So even if I get a 61%, I will be happy that I passed.
Thanks
Mark
