Hi All, I had my Exam today (5th of March). I passed with 76%. I have absolutely no background in Java. I started preparing for the exam in October, but I had many gaps in between. The longest of which was for one month. I used Mughal's book...the best !!! Any way, the most important tips that I can give is that one should not be nervous at all while taking the exam. It's not as hard as they tell you. They're just trying to scare you !! Most of the mock tests that I took before the exam say that "The real thing is much tougher than this". Well, I was getting around 70%, on average, in mock tests. So I guess that the real thing is not that much more difficult than most of the mock tests (if at all) !! I got many questions which had straight forward answres (some of them were VERY straight forward !!!). You might get a series of tough questions...don't get nervous. Thanks a lot for evryone who ever posted a topic in this site, it really helps. Good luck to you all. Ahmed.

Congrats Ahmed. Yes, I also found that real exam is much easier and straight forward than the mock exams available on net.

Hi Prakshi, Going to the exam, I considered I/O to be my weakest topic. In the exam, I got 4 or 5 questions on I/O and I scored 100% in this topic !! Questions on I/O were very easy. I didn't get any questions regarding method names or anything like that. All the questions on I/O had to do with knowing the right constructor for the right class. If you know the constructors, you'll definately score 100% on I/O. I would say that ALL the mock tests that I took before the exam, had tougher questions on I/O than the real exam. All the best. Ahmed.

Yesterday, just 15 days after the exam, I got the original certificate from Sun. That's faster than I expected

Congratulation !!! and All the best for ur java carrer Avi
I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to
run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
