I will try and make this short and sweet.
Passed, 86%.
First 5 questions were on threads. Threads and IO held major majority and seemed a theme in the exam. Most questions were single answer multiple choice. I was surprised at how few were multiple answer questions. I was also surprised to get four type in the answer questions. Know your try-catch-finally block, and also know what happens when you pass an object as a parameter and that object gets modified in the method you pass it to.
I used A Programmer's Guide to Java Certification by Khalid Mughal & Rolf Rasmussen almost exclusively. I hightly recommend it. I also used JQPlus extensively, and recommend it. My thanks to these people, and to javaranch for the resources. You people are amazing!
My thanks goes out to Jane Griscti and to Peter Haggar for their exceptional answers to some of my questions on this board. Jane, thank you for your time and continued effort. Peter, I think it is very cool that someone as busy as you must be(works at IBM, is an author, and must do a little programming somewhere in there!) has time, and makes time to write explanations and answers that are well thought out. Thank you both.
Thanks to javaranch, Marcus Green for his work, and anyone else I've missed.
Sincerely,
Jason

Thanks

Hmm...follow the objectives? Well, not in order anyway, it was all random for order as far I was concerned.

congratulations , Jason. Good Score. All the very best for the future.

All the very best for your exams , Sridevi & Atul. I an very much confident that you people will come out with flying clours , without external help. The success will taste very sweet , when you achieve something with your own might & guts.
