Hi guys: I just passed SCJP this morning with 93%. Thanks all for help! Couple of comments: JQPLUS helps a lot. I saw several very similar Qs in JQPLUS. Still have uncertainy with following Q: Which of the following will prevent overrideing a method:

Well, I feel went through that "bible" book plus the JQPLUS for self test/learning would be enough to pass. I do pay few $$ for the JQPLUS. I got several Qs on Inner/Annoynimous Inner class, static Inner class, 3-5 multithreading, 2-4 IO. Other issues are not big problems.

CONGRATULATIONS!! Thats a great score. REgarding your question ,I think only the 2 final methods cannot be overriden. The static-only method can be overriden in a subclass but only if it is kept static in the subclass also i.e. it is not made an instance method in the subclass. TRy it out.Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm giving the exam on 19th. I've just used JQPlus for the past 1 week or so. Done all the tests averaging 75-85% and 90% in the Random. Do you think that is sufficient. Also how much of AWT was there in the Exam?? Thanx for your help, and All the best for the future. VIKRAM
