Hi Everybody,
I am preparing for SCJP2 and giving a lot of Mock Exams along with preparing from R&H. I am scoring somewhere between 75% to 80% in Mocks and sometimes 85%.
With this Am I ready for the exam. Should I go for it after a final brush up.
I am a full time employee and can't devote more than 2-3 hrs for preperation.
Kindly Suggest
Neeraj

Hi Danish,
Well that's true that a person is the best judge for himself but I just want to utilize the experience of those who have already qualified the exam.
Those of u who have cleared the exam will have some idea that if I am getting around 75% in Mocks then will it be possible to clear the Exam with this much preperation.
That's the only thing I want to know.

Neeraj,
I wrote May 2 and found my score was closer to the scores on the mock exams on my first try than when I went back and wrote them again. Reason being the questions are becoming more familiar to you. So write one and do research on your weak areas then try another fresh mock.

Neeraj,
Most people feel that your score on the exam is analagous to your score on the mocks. Don't use this only to gauge if you're ready or not. If I were you I'd look through the objectives and ask yourself if you feel you are ready. Good luck with your decision.

Hello Sean,
I agree with u that one should not rely on the mock exam results but today when there are so many mock exams available I think some good ones do tell that where do u stand thi is a different thing that we can't depend onm them solely.
Just like EXIT POLLS isn't it.

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
