Hey everyone -
I took my exam on April 5th (and passed) .. and have YET to receive anything (actual certificate, logos, etc) from Sun Micro!
Is there somewhere I can call to find out what's going on??
Thanks.

Eric,
I was wondering the same thing. I took my exam on April 20th. I read that one person said they received the pin and certificate within 10 days. I guess the important this is that you're in the database right?

Hi Eric,
It can take anywhere from 2 to 8 weeks; depends on where you live and how busy they are at Sun. Have you tried sending an e-mail using the 'contact' link on the galton page? May help.

Dunno if this helps or not, but...
I found that Sun didn't do anything with my score until I agreed to an agreement in the 'Certification Progress' section of the website at Galton (which I had to do through Netscape - I must have done it 4 or 5 times from work through IE, and it didn't "take" until I did it from home with Netscape out of sheer frustration). I only know that they were apparently waiting for that because the date on the certificate I have on the wall of my office is dated from the night it took, rather than the test date (a week earlier).
You might want to check under 'Certification Progress' and see if it has a little blue square beneath the SCPJ2 exam listing.

I can't find any agreement screen anywhere, even under Certification progress. It says that I started it on April 20, when I took the test, but that is all. It says I passed as well, with my score in another section. Under the faq, for reasons why I have not received my package, it didn't mention anything about an agreement. It mentioned that it takes at least 30 days from the date of your test, it also mentioned you might not have the correct info for your address, but I couldn't find anything about an agreement. Why would it say I started my exam, when it says I took it and passed it on 4/20?

Hi everyone -
Well I am finally going to be receiving my certification package from Sun.
Here's some of the reply from the email I received:
"For some reason your certification package was not automatically queued for mailing. It has just now been queued and the package should be mailed in the next seven business days."
If you are having the same problem, contact Sun at:
who2contact@central.sun.com
Thanks everyone!
