Hi all, I just came from the test with 74% . I am so happy to become an scjp. First of all I thank my god saibaba . Thanks to all those who helped me by solving my doubts. Also thanks for jqplus. It is worth buying and I could learn a lot from it. I followed java2 certification guide by simon roberts, Examcram after thorough study of 'deitel and deitel' and 'thinking in java'.Also first few chapters from 'java in a nutshell'. As others posted I too got 2Q with no correct option.I thought of leaving it unanswered but it was promptring me about the unanswered so I had to choose something fot it.

Hi Bhaswati karmakar,Ashok, Thank you. I took a course in LA city college which prescribed this book and we had 9 chapters and did some exercises which they gave as assignments ofcourse not each and every one. And the other like threads and exceptions I just went thru those chapters but IO felt tough in this book. Madhuri.

hi madhuri, Congratulations on becoming a SCJP i would like to ask u whether u had prepared each and every method of various component classes from java.awt package in depth?were any Qs asked on the syntax and purpose of these methods in SCJP exam?or just knowing the constructors of these components is sufficient? rajashree.

Hi rajshree, In layout managers I got both theory and coding Q's like first added to one dir then change layout.Then what happens when it is resized etc. In events all are theory and very easy which event is generated and in Gridbag layout I got only 1 Q and I did it correct. I thoroughly prepared JQplus by doing customize tests and did all the exercises in examcram and certification guide.Hope that would be enough. Thank you. Bye, Madhuri.
