I passed my exam yesterday. I used the book, "A Programmer's Guide to Java Certification", to review the language. I spent about two weeks preparing for the exam. I didn't seriously think of taking the exam until a guy I work with that never worked with Java before spent about two months working on a Java project and reading two certification books passed the test. I thought if he could do it, I could too. What is my certification worth to me now? Should I go for the Developer exam? Is it harder? Is it worth as much when employers decide on salaries? Thanks, Kevin

Fantastic Kevin !!! Obviously the market is not as good as it once was, and someone without experience will have a hard time. You might want to search this site for similar posts in the past which will provide you a wealth of replies. Once again, Congratulations Dan
