Hi Everybody, Today I cleared the SCJP2 with 89%. I am so happy that I can't express. I would like to thank JavaRanch at first place and not to forget Khalid Mughal and Simon Roberts & Philips Heller. These are the two books I used plus I took help from Bill Brogden's ExamCram and Patrick Naughton's Java 2 Complete Reference. I took almost 2 1/2 months for preerations along with my Full Time Job devoting 2-3 hrs daily. The Best thing I think is that I got this score without using JQ+. Most of the persons who qualify say they used JQ+ so I decided to do SCJP2 without JQ+. I may would have got more if I would have used it. But yes I left no Mock Exam I did almost all the Mocks I could get from all the resources on the net and JavaRanch was a Gateway for all this stuff. I got realy hard questions from Threads that too lengthy ones. Rest all was fine 4-5 from IO and 4-5 from Collection. My topic wise score is: Delaration & Access control---------------- 87% Flow Control & Exception Handling----------100% Garbage Collection-------------------------100% Language Fundamentals---------------------- 100% Operators and Assignment------------------- 85% Overloading Overriding Runtime Type and OO ------100% Threads------------------------------------- 71% AWT-----------------------------------------100% Lang----------------------------------------50% UTIL---------------------------------------- 100% IO------------------------------------------ 80% I got 3 questions where I hade to type the answers. One was what will be the value of a String variable I gave the answer in " ---" quotes. Another asked to type the output I gave the answer in " " quotes and that is where I think I went wrong. And that lowered my score in Lang. I think I should not have used double quotes for the output of program though for the value of a String variable they are valid. I would like to help u all in all the possible ways I can. <h5> <marquee> Thanks a lot to all of u. </marquee> </h5> Neeraj

Congrats! I'm not sure why you're so proud you did it without JQ+, all it does is save you searching the internet for lots of mock exams. I don't think just having JQ+ will increase your score, you either understand the fundamentals or you don't!
