i was wondering about the exam marking scheme . I was working on jadee mock exams .tell me something , if i have to attempt a multiple choice question and out of 4 options i give 3 , out of which 2 are correct and one option which i gave is wrong . Does that mean i wont get any marks or points for that question.
I don't know about the actual exam but that's what i fould in the mock exams .

Hi,
The questions must be 100% correctly answered. There are no partial credits given. At least they tell you how many of the choices are right. Wish you well :-)

That is correct.
To clarify: a question says pick the three correct answers. You pick two correct and one wrong. You get no credit. That means you lose about 1.7 points.

but as far as i know in a multiple choice question we are not told to attempt x no. of answers .......whatever is correct , we just have to tick that ...isn't that so .
so if we tick more than the required or visa versa .....do we loose all the marks for the question inspite of attempting it partially correct ?
I think you ment the same .

Hi Raghav,
The real exam will say 'select two' or 'select three'. If there is no 'select' statement then only one right answer exists.
You only receive marks for correct answers; no marks are deducted for wrong answers.
Hope that helps.
