hello everybody
Thank God I passed the exam. I got 71% yesterday. One thing is clear. Marcus Green Exams and javaranch website are the way to go to get the certification. It took around 2 months of study for me and I followed RHE. I did all the exam papers in this site. Apart from that I did not buy any other material. Initially all the questions seemed to be on threading. I got about 7 to 8 of them in a row. Then things eased out a bit. My advise to the people preparing for the certification would be to safe guard Marcus exams for the last 3 days or atleast 2 exams. I did the mistake of taking these exams way ahead. This exams will fairly tell you the score you get in the final.... All right then all the very best....

Thank you guys... I also want to give one more piece of advice:
I suggest you don't take mock exams like JTips (and other tough exams) as exams to judge your performance, as they are just too tough as compared to the real one. you can use them as learning tools though. Because if you start judging your knowledge based on these performances then the study looks never ending. Atleast this was the case with me. According to me all that we need to make sure is to pass the 61%, since a score of 90+ or 60+ are treated equal here. Why break our heads for high scores. Instead we can use that extra time looking ahead like Developers exam or what ever.... This is purely my thought and experience. I never posted much on this forum before but enjoyed reading the posts here and I now really feel it is time for me to give back something. So I will surely stick around and try to help people preparing for the exam in what ever little way possible.Lets keep the spirit of Javaranch going.... I also appreciate all the javaranch team for coming up with such a novel idea...Hatsoff to you.

CONGRATULATIONS Prash!
We appreciate the feedback. One can waste alot of valuable time on poorly written mocks. My turn soon to write again. Wish you well
