I passed the exam on wednesday with a decent 89%. I started using the JavaRanch forum about 3 weeeks ago and found it to be a good & helpful site for clearing your doubts about Java. Good JOb!!! I just have a few questions how does a person get graded as a bartender, greenhorn etc. how does a person qualify to be a moderator?? Thanks, Namrata

Namrata congrats on passing the test!!! As soon as a person makes over 30 posts they get promoted from greenhorn to ranch hand. To become a bartender you have to be asked by one of the sherrifs. I believe a person is nominated by an existing bartender or sherrif and then the rest of them vote on it. Probably in the moderators only forum (where they are also planning world domination). It is the bartenders and sherrifs that moderate all of the forums. Hope that helps and best of luck Dave
