Hello!
What great thing is to pass, what even greater is to pass with 91.
70% percent was on the basics.
A lot of questions on Threads(at least 8).
The IO wasn't difficult(RHE book has enough info about IO).
Don't worry about bit-shifting or GridBag. The exam had 1 questions on each, and they were so easy(easier than in most mock exams)!!!
If you have any questions, ask! I'm ready to help.

Most of the questions on Threads were how to implement Runnable or how to create Threads from Runnables in the right way.
There was also a question on determining the value of a member variable which is changed in the run method and also in the main method.
Two questions about synchronized, one is about deadlocks.
But don't worry, even if you don't answer any question on Threads you can still get 51/59!

Hi Edward
Good stuff mate. This is incredible. Only 15 years old and 91%. You're genius.
I am planning to take exam some times in december. I have bought JQPLUS 600 questions software and started to work with them.
Give me yours thoughts so that i can prepare according to that. I really find hard to read whole book and than start doing mock exam.
Cheers

Here's my advice for those who intend to take the test:
If you have some knowledge in java buy the "Complete Java 2 Certification" by Roberts and his buddies. This book is written by the people who wrote the real exam!
It was the only book i used to study for the test and its really great! Buy it from Amazon.com!
Then, go to Maha Anna's Site(www.javaranch.com/maha) and try to pass all the exams(about 2800 questions). Most of the exams are harder than the real thing!!!
After this you should be ready at least to pass.
If you are new to java, take some tutorials like on this site, on Marcus Green's site and the original Sun tutorial(java.sun.com/tutorial).
After you've learned the basics, take the steps which i mentioned in the begining of the message.
Good Luck Y'all!!!
P.S:
If you have any questions abou the test, don't be afraid to ask, i took only 3 days ago!
