From what I've seen the JQ+ test is actually harder than the real test for most people. If you go here you can see what scores people received on both the real test and JQ+. ------------------ Dave Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform [This message has been edited by Dave Vick (edited September 18, 2001).]
See my earlier note in this forum ("passed Java programmer certification exam!"). Although I've heard that JQ+ is supposed to be harder (the authors claim this themselves), my real exam score was about what I was getting on JQ+. In other words, I was getting between 60-80% with JQ+, and on the real exam I tested at 71%, which is right in the middle. You need to take the JQ+ exam several times at least to get a feel for what you might get on JQ+...don't rely on a high score once...you should be consistently passing JQ+ to feel secure.
I was scoring around 75% earlier in JQ+ and a few days be4 exam my score was around 85% (each new exam not any repeatition). I got 91% in the real exam. So i think the real exam is slightly easier than JQ+ but about even hard if compared to J@Whiz.....
