which one is better according to the current pattern of the exam JQplus or JWhiz .i tried trial or both the simulators and found that JWhiz is more into coding questions than JQplus.and from the review of the passed SCJP's current pattern of exam has 70 - 80% of coding questions. SO which one should i buy?
Rahul, I'll be taking the exam here in tallahasse,fl on the 19th. According to the majority of the posts I've read JQ Plus actually has similar questions that appear on the exam. I'm currently on Test 4 in JQ Plus and would highly recommend it. However, be sure to READ ALL THE GENERAL COMMENTS. -pp
I believe J@Whiz. I scored 98% with it and was their scorer of the month as well . I have now their great combo j@whiz + scwcd@whiz + xml@whiz. All the best sudeepa
Rohit, Observing results and experience of many people at different sites, i believe both jwhiz and jq+ stand high. Choose anyone and you should be having smooth journey to scjp, otherwise you will keep finding and listening which will end up take your precious time. Hope this helps. All the best richa
Hi Rahul JWhizz is worth the 20 bucks I think - 10 practice tests - 1 final test - You can drill down into specific areas of study eg io, threads (these two areas are mainly code based - what you will get in the exam apparently) etc - You can set the degree of difficulty of the tests as well eg beginner intermediate expert - Gives detailed explanations of the answers I would agree with Peter read the explanations given carefully, add them to your notes and revise the areas where you going wrong - after a couple of tests you should your weak areas/strong areas will emerge and this should assist your study focus for the last week All the best Jim
- Jim Petersen <br />SCJP2<br />SCWCD<p>- but then again, I could be wrong...
Both has advantages and disadvantges....but JQ+ trickier while J@Whiz is standard....so i'll say 4 JQ+.... ------------------ Muhammad Ashikuzzaman (Fahim) Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform --When you learn something, learn it by heart!
