Dear Ranchers
The countdown was tough but the outcome is great -> Got 96% in my first attempt
I once again thank you all for your suggestions regarding last days help. Its because of that only i could have a sound sleep in 2 days before the exam which IS VITAL for getting good score. Vel's Notes and J@Whiz Quiz/Tips helped a lot.
Regular trips to this great place can do much more than anything else and im very thankful to the creators of this place.People say java is dying but this place has kept the Spirit Alive. Cheers for this wonderful place.
Having an years exp in java and hardwork for little over 2 months made me satisfied for my efforts.Probably the time has come for sun to again change its syllabus as its become easy now to predict the quality and quantity of questions. Also bcoz there are good mock exams like Marcus Green's,J@Whiz which makes you feel confident.
You also have great books like Khalid Mughal, really concise notes like vel's (couldnt go thru veena's one for lack of time). You can njoy while studying with games like Roundup at this lovely place
Now for tricky and buggy topics like Threads,IO and Inner classes you have tools like good tutorials at sun and other once again you have mocks like marcus, jwhiz which will almost make you sure that you will swim and not sink.I think now people have the habbit of devoting extra time and more serious about these topics since beginning.
All these great and highly affordable resources makes you self confident without the necessity of attending those costly trainings/boot camps
I will be happy to help you guys with my experience and knowledge.I remember the day when i asked everyone about what to do for the last few days. By grace of god i was lucky to possess vel's notes and the new version of J@Whiz which gave me reason to take some rest and postpon the exam by few more days
From my slogging for over a month i have learnt 2 very important things->
-> Awaresness of good resources contributes heavily and much more than continuing with one book thinking "I know everything, i dont need any other help".
->THE LAST FEW DAYS ARE VERY CRUCIAL FOR YOUR OVERALL PERFORMANCE. MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE YOU NEED A PIECE OF MIND AND SOUND SLEEP.
Thanks a ton

Now once again i need a sound sleep
