hello all,
tommorrow @ noon is the the 'big showdown'. i've read through most of the posts in this forum, read pgjc and completed jq+
(1.5 times). i feel relaxed, but somewhat anxious. anyway, i know that i should get a good night sleep and eat well, but i'm going to study for 3 hrs tonight anyway.
my question is in regard to the 'very similar question has been asked in scjp2' questions. as i took the jq+ tests, i wrote down every single 'very similar..' question id and decided that this should be the material i use to study before the exam. has anyone else found these types of questions to 'actually be on the scjp2', or is this simply marketing hype ?

Hello, Peter. I remember some of the questions seemed similar, however, you must know the concepts and fundamentals. Memorization wont't work. Some of the questions I encounter I had never seen before. I mean some real tricky ones. So, you have to get down to basics and really know the fundamentals, that's the only way you can pass that test unless you're very lucky. I have JQPlus and I love it. It was $20 dollars well spent. My opinion is this, If your scoring between 80 - 90 with JQPLus and mixing it up with other mocks and your scoring well on those then you're probably ready. Relax and take it easy, you'll do fine.
Good Luck,
Donald
