Hi All,
I've just passed the exam this morning with 81%. I am so happy that all my efforts for around 4 weeks didn't disappoint me.
I prepared my exam with:
JWhiz got average 78%
Marcus Green's average 80%
JPrepare average 71%
I also want to share some tips for anyone going to take the exam, I found, it's very true to focus on :
- I/O Constructors
- Inner Class (with all its modifiers)
- AWT's LayoutManager (Border, Flow and GridBag)
- synchronized word in Thread (many questions on this)
That doesn't mean that other topics are unimportant, I just found many questions on that area.
I also too under-estimated garbage collection (got 0%), only 1 question on garbage collection, but I missed it
I enjoy some long code with basic error like accessing non-static variable from static methods.
Last but certainly not least ... my big thanks to Valentin, Fei Ng, Manish, James and everyone I can't mention one by one in Javaranch, it's a wonderful site for java programmer to discuss java problems.
I think will move to SCWCD after this

Congrats Roy,
