This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
I took the test yesterday and passed with a 74%. I took the test once before last April and scored a 50%. The best recommendation I can make is this: believe the practice tests! If you can't pass them you can't pass the real thing. I used J@Whiz and JQPLus. Both are excellent. The last two tests I took with J@Whiz I scored in the 70's, just like my real score. Many thanks to the authors of Mike Myer's passport certification book. After reading RHE, Exam Cram, and Mughal's book the Passport really helped me concentrate my knowledge. I am primarily a web developer seeking a SCWCD, but needed to get through the SCPJ first. Michael Piscatello SCPJ
