Hi Dear Ranchers!.Two dayz before i attemp SCJP2 & Scored 96%.Yes this was the exact time for which i was waiting. .It was not the piece of cake if i haven't heard about this site.Javaranch helped me a lot.In particular i like to thank the man who bear my sensible & non-sensible questions and share his magical knowledge of Java....He is ......Valentin Crettaz.Thank U Valentin.
Paper was much easy then i was thinking & has much simpler questions as compared to mocks. If u have done KM thoroughly along with JQ+ then there will be no hurdle in ur way.
I would like to thanx Javaranch Team who has maintained such a magnificient site of Java & related technologies with tremendous knowledge.
Once again a big big Thanx to ALL RANCHERS!
Bye.
Viki.

Thanx Alan. And Much thanx as u r first to cogratulate me .Yes Raji sure i will help u as it is due and now become the part of my nature after becoming Rancher .My vey first advivce to u is to firmly grasp Javarnch and try to make sure about ur concepts by posing questions here.U'll learn more than ever.Read KM thoroughly and try to make small programs in which u have doubt.Write some small codes and make sure that KM s teling right. Some times in his book u'll get mistakes!
Bye.

Thanx Fee,Axel,Sonir,Rowan,Mark,Manish And Valentin
Sonir be cool & relaxed.Believe me Exam is much easy than u can't imagine. The only thing is that keep confident ur self on ur concepts,Try to write some code(in which u think u have doubt) & RHE & JQ+ are much!.I am seeing ur post at Study Forum from a long time & i think u can do much better. And yes Velmurugan Notes are worth to study.
Mark questions on IO were easy, infact two of them were in correct.I have to select two options & i was Damn sure it has only one correct answer.Even i've discussed this thing before appearing in SCJP with my friends here at Javaranch.Anyway, that was my LUCK!
Threads......Somw what confusing try to give more time to Threads, u'll got some tricky questions there.Dont bothered with LOC.My formula for Big LOC is The more LOC the More Easy Answer!
AWT, is easy.It depends upon ur brain that how much u can remember Methods & class tree of AWT.My formula for AWT is to take one tablet of AWT in morning as a part of Breakfast.
Valentin i declare u as a key of my success. Now its ur responsibility to direct the future in IT of ur student.I am currently student of 3rd year Computer Engr. And want to do more professional certs.Actually i am looking for JCERT track. And a/c to it i have to move for SCWCD,UML & XML.So where to go from here?
Bye.

I'm deeply touched As I said I'm also happy that I could help you in your quest. I don't really know whether I'll be of any help in the "future of IT" but I'll fight for it. I love IT, it's my work and my passion at the same time (dangerous for my private life, ... whatever , my wife understands perfectly )
Concerning your future direction, I'd say that it mostly depends on you and on what you are looking for out there. Personally, I'm preparing for SCWCD and the Developer Certification. I don't have too much time to put in it so it's going slowly but steadily... I'd say that if you are more inclined to the web stuff you may want to go for SCWCD first and then XML (other the other way around). Then if you really want to get a real certification go for the Developer Cert since that one really emphasizes on personal knowledge and know-how...
Anyway, I wish you the best and don't hesitate to ask question... I'm around and other people too
Good luck

Yes u were really indulged with my preparation & my result reflects ur indulgence

Yes ur participation at javaranch clearly reflect ur interest in IT.But here (first time) i would like to give u a small tip. That ur wife comes first then ur profession. So give her reasonable time otherwise she will stop ur participation at javaranch (just kidding)And this will be gr888 loss for me .Anyway., its a good new that u r also preparing for SCWCD & I've decided to go for it.But the problem with me is that, the firm in which i am working as an internee wants me to do SCWCD very soon.So therefore i am looking to give cert soon.Maximum 1 and half months. Is it possible. If yes the i'll be looking for ur supervision for SCWCD

Don't worry

Yeah I think it is, although I've no deadline myself for passing it. To prepare for SCWCD I'm just completely rewriting a website I did some times ago and I try to include as much as I can so that I use everything (almost everything). I think this is a good idea since there are not as many mock exams for SCWCD out there as there are for SCJP...
Happy SCWCDing
