I just (just ) passed the programmer test. I would like to thank the folks at JavaRanch for letting me work on your cows. Also thanks to Marcus for his tests. I studied with Roberts and Heller's book and I was shocked at the amount of awt and io questions I got on my test today (7 awt, 8 io). The book said that these topics were not weighted that heavily...Don't be fooled. The real test was exactly as hard as Marcus' tests.
Congratulations Keep it up !!! Rashid ------------------------------ Sun Certified Programmer for Java 2 Platform ------------------------------

Congrats Eric, I just passed mine Monday. I agree with you about being shocked with the questions. I only had one string question & one question about collections. Everything was very much slanted towards I/O, Threads & AWT for me also so those of you getting ready don't overlook these! Congrats again.....the score doesnt matter, your certified!

Hearty Congratulations Eric. Certification is what matters. Even I had passed with the same score. I am happy and I hope you are also. I had given my exam barely a week after I left my job though it was couple of months back. Anyways Congratulations once again.

Congrats Rashid
I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to
run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
