This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
I completed the SCJP2 yesterday scoring 83%. I have been studying on and off for about a year. The main books that I used to prepare with are: Beginning Java2 Thinking in Java A Programmers Guide to Java Certification I did many mock exams in preparation. In the final week though I emphasized JQ+. My tests scores on the JQ+ were in the 68-71 test range. From reading other posts a ten point difference between the JQ+ and actual exam is normal. I think that this is a wonderfully helpful forum. I am grateful for all the posts/responses that I have read in order to help prepare myself for the exam. Thank you!
