Just wanted to post my score and send a huge thank you to this board. It was a great resource!
Here's some info on what I did to prepare:
- Read More Servlet and Server Pages: this is the best practical guide to working with servlets and server pages.
- Get a review book/sheet: I got the Sybex book. I found that it organized my knowledge in relation to the exam objectives. I do think that the Sybex is full of errors - so use with caution. I supplemented this with the many review sheets that are posted on the links page.
- Get JWebPlus: This was the key for me. Some of the test questions were almost duplicated on the test. I followed the instructions concerning using the product.
Here were my scores:
First 5 Exams: 78, 83, 88, 95, 93
Random Test: 96, 93
Tough Test: 95
Concerning the test:
- there seemed to be more design pattern topics than the 4 listed in the objectives (that cost me 1-2 questions for sure)
- lots of questions on tag libs
- the one thread question was odd, make sure you really know your stuff.
Hope this helps - good luck!
- Ron
