This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
Congratulation in passing , but if you would like to help future test takers who read the javaranch forum, it would be helpful if you told them about your success in passing the test, instead of just saying how happy you are and glad its over with. I am glad you all passed, but I personally would like to read more useful infomation that might help me pass the test. Basic questions I have for people who passed the test. 1. How much experience did you have before passing the test? 2. How long did it take you to prepare? 3. What did you find most difficult about the test? 4. Do you have any tips or advise for future test takers. For those of you who like to help others and make this website worthwhile, Thank You!
Ulysses In the SCJP forum you will find a wonderful FAQ about the SCJP and will answer some if not all your questions. How long it takes is really up to you and your experience. Anything someone might say about how much time it took really is particular to that person, so there really isn't a good answer to give you. Good Luck and start working. Mark
