Hello Ranchers,
I thank everyone involved with this site for helping me pass my certification.
The actual test difficulty level was very similar to the JWeb+ exams that come with the Deshmukh book.
A few pointers.
1. Buy the deshmukh book. I haven't seen the other one's but this one is cut to syllabus.
2. Study the spec's and API for general understanding, but no need to know each class, method in the API.
3. Give a lot of stress on memorization(book).
4. EXPECT SOME UNEXPECTED
Best of luck,
Regards,
Rohit.

I studied specs/API to get a better understanding of the classes and methods. From the exam point of view, I think you might skip the spec's/API without affecting your score.
regards,
Rohit.
