I took the test yesterday and passed with 93% score (got 55 questions right out of 59). I found the exam to be very easy. Some questions are written in such a way that nobody will ever miss them.
One question about jsp:getProperty (with not all the parameters supplied values in the request) probably got wrong. I am still not sure if the output will be null or the default value (depending on datatype, if not initialized) or the initialized value in javabean.
Any way, I must thank javaranch for providing the forum for questions and answers. It helped me a lot just like it did for my SCJP and SCJD exams.

Great Score Risika. I'm curious just for planning purposes, did you find the JWeb Mock's close the the real exam?
I know I found their JQ+ for the SCJP a good study aid but a little more difficult than the actual...

John, I mostly relied on the mock exams suplied with manning book, there are three of them. and in my opinion the level of difficulty is just about the same as the real one.
One more suggestion, focus more on the professionally written mock exams than the mock exams written by some of the candidates themselves. with all due respect to the authors, I found that they are some times misleading and full of grammatical and other mistakes. It is hard to find if the mistakes are intentional or unintentional. the wrong wording may change the meaning of the question. I am not saying don't take them but take it with a pinch of salt.

I took manning mock exams twice. Once immediately after I read the book two times. I got 80 to 85 %. Then I read the entire book third time and took the tests again. Second time, my score was 90 to 95 %.

Hi Rasika,
Very good score. Congrats!
I heard there are some survey like questions for us to fill up before the exam starts. Can you tell us what options did you choose for them? (Intermediate level, Expert etc)
Also can you tell us approximately how many questions did you get on TagLibs and Design Patterns.
How did you prepare for these 2 areas? (tags and design patterns).
Thanks!
Regards,
Maha Anna

Maha Anna, I answered the survey questions reflecting my atual work experience that is I did not choose 'expert' for every question. I don't think it has any bearing on your score. As far as I remember, there were four questions on design pattern and 7-8 questions on taglib. Just like all other topics, I used manning book, javadoc on sun API and mock exams on the CD with the manning book. Unlike my programmer's exam, this time I did not write a single line of code.
Dharmin, as I said above, my main resource for studying was manning book, mock exams on the CD that came with it and sun javadoc for API.
