I just passed the exam yesterday, thx for the JavaRanch for providing rich exam resources and I would also like to share my comment: 1. Compared with SCJP, this one is easier. 2. The book I used is "SCWCD Exam Study Kit", I just heard from amazon that this one is good. However, it is not as good as I expected, quite a lot of typo and areas that are not explained in depth. 3. I wonder why the exam does not specify the JSP/Servlet version, (imply the latest one?) I try to ask Sun about that but got no response, eventually I just followed the book's recommendation, using Servlet 2.3 and JSP 1.2. Isn't it Strange? Mac =)

Thx all. "SCWCD Exam Study Kit" was the only book I used to prepared for the exam. I just read through the book , wrote some simple programs to demonstrate the concept, and then did several mock exams. Two mock exams are from the book and some others from the Java Ranch. Doing mock exam and writing programs can verify/reinforce your understanding, these steps are as important as reading a good book. Besides, I have been writing Java web app. for 3 years, I have already known much of the SCWCD covered concepts. Mac [ January 15, 2003: Message edited by: Mac Lai ]
