I'd been procrastinating on this one for so long that my voucher expires tomorrow!!
So, about a month ago I sat down with the "SWCD Exam Study Kit" book from Manning. I read through the first 15 chapters and most of chapter 16. I did all of the exercises in the book and lots of tests with JWebPlus.
I still don't have a full understanding of developing a custom tag library, but I managed to
pick up enough for the exam.
This exam is much easier than the programmer exam.
I finished with about 50 minutes to spare, spent about 20 minutes going over "marked" questions (you can find answers to some questions by reading through the text of the other questions).
I guess it helps that I've been working with JSP's and servlets on and off for the last two and a half years, but most of the credit goes to the Manning book and JWebPlus.
I guess now I can start looking for my next certification........
