Hi dudes! Just wanted to encourage you guys that have a solid C++ background that you can do this in a short time if you concentrate. I have 10 years of professional C++ development background. I've also teached OOD/OOP in C++ at the university a few years ago, so I know it really well. I prepared for this exam by attending a 4 day crash-course in Java2 1.4 where we used Bruce Eckels book "Thinking in Java". After that I studied for about another 3 days, mostly doing mock exams. Started with the cow-game :-) and continued with another 5-6 moch exams. I went for it and got 95%! I've had no experience with Java before this! I concentrated on learning the differences between C++ and Java and on the many exam traps discussed here and shown in the mock exams. So, really learn the difference between Java/C++ and then trust your previous experience and instincts... I spent less than 100 hours on this and succeeded big time! Going for Developers now... Good luck you guys!
