I passed the SCWCD exam 4/24/03 with just 4 weeks of preparation. I used the book SCWCD - Exam Kit (Deshmukh) primarily. There is a cd with practice tests included. On to SCEA!

Hi all,
The exam was not as difficult as the SCJP exam but challenging. I had very little job experience(mostly maintenance of JSP's and J2EE beans). I did the servlet exercises on JavaRanch and samples from books....
The timing was better for this exam. I finished with enough time left to review all of my marked questions and then 6 min left.... Study the API's carefully especially what is in the Deshmukh - SCWCD - Exam Kit.
I hope that helps!

Don't get hung up on scores. The answer is 89 but it doesn't matter because no one needs to know!

Nice job, I plan on doing the same, well maybe give myself a month and a half. Its good to hear SCWCD is not as hard as SCJP
