Just passed the SCJP with 98%. One question wrong on threads.
I scored around 85% on Marcus' mocks.
I consistently did badly in Dan's exams - I was lucky to scrape 60% on some of them. I found these to be very difficult, and much harder than the eventual exam.
K&B's book was excellent, and I averaged 83% on the complete set of questions. 93% on the exam on the CD.
Thanks for everything on this site - a fantastic site indeed.

wow , that is great score. Congratulations.
Just a few questions:
1.Had u gone through all of Dan's single topic tests as well ?

2.What mock exams did u use ( JQPlus, Whizlabs).
I have my exam scheduled after 15-20 days. Any tips on how to study ?

Hi Jui,
I went through a couple of Dan's single topics. I think Dan's questions are great for learning Java, but they are definitely much harder than the real exam (they also cover things not required for the exam; for example I noticed a question on String pools and efficient Hashcode implementations - definitely not needed for the exam as far as I know).
The mock exam I used was from Bert and Kathy's book, and I also did Marcus' first exam, and sat it as a simulated exam (and I simply skipped any AWT or IO questions).
To be honest, I'm not sure I can help with the study - whatever works for you! Cover as much as you can and read Kathy and Bert's book twice (at least!)
