This week's book giveaway is in the Agile and other Processes forum. We're giving away four copies of The Mikado Method and have Ola Ellnestam and Daniel Brolund on-line! See this thread for details.
I gave the test an hour ago and passed with 93%. This was exactly the score I had got on Kathy Sierra's mock test. The actual test questions were not very simple, I knew before I had finished that I cannot answer 4 questions, try as I might, and I ended up getting 57/61. I did one wrong question on threads and one on garbage collection. The questions on Garbage collection were not difficult as such , they were just wierd..and impossible to answer. also, the resume method which the KB book says is deprecated and need not be studied, had appeared on the test However, I strongly feel that KB is a truly grt book and has all that u need to pass this test with flying colors. I wish to thank Kathy and Bert profusely for their excellent book. I will be doing SCWCD now. Do u have any good book for that, Kathy and Bert , so that I can crack this exam also.. Thanks Jui
Congrats Jui, Just wanted to know how long did u study for this exam and what has been your experience in Java. I am also preparing for this exam and would like to get some tips as to how I should go about. Thanks DD
