I passed SCJP with 85%.I am very happy.
Exam was easy.Scored 100% in Threads.Got low score in garbage collections.Garbage collection questions were very different from those I studied.
Mine is different story.I prepared for SCJP1.2 one year ago.I thought ,going through R&H book and giving some mock exams will be enough to pass. But in reality,I didn't feel confident enough to give the exam.Felt the need to go more deeper.Stopped the idea of giving exam then.Again this year I bought K&B book in the month of May.Studied during week ends.Gave Dan's mock exam 2 times.Gave all the mock exams listed in javaranch mock exam list.Day (OCT 24) before the exam I gave marcus green's exam,K&B master exam.My score is close to marcus green.I scored 93% in K&B master exam .
I studied only in the week ends.Over all it took 9 months.
My tips to those who are preparing are don't get influenced by the posts which say "Read some xyz certification book, gave couple of mock exams, scored 70% " .Coz these kinds of posts really made me to feel it is easy to pass the exam.May be it was easy for some. But not for everyone.
K&B book helped alot. Most of my concepts got cleared after reading the book.Dan's mock exams were excellent, they really helped me to dig the concept.Javaranch is greatest place. Thanks alot to all the Java ranchers.
Best of luck to those who are preparing.

nicely done!
But I'm moving this to the Sun Certification Results forum. So, please continue the well-deserved congrats there.

Many congratulations Veena.
I agree with your posting, when I read some postings on the website, it looks like taking the SCJP exam is very easy or that programming the Java language is easy.
