This week's book giveaway is in the OCAJP 8 forum. We're giving away four copies of OCA Java SE 8 Programmer I Study Guide and have Edward Finegan & Robert Liguori on-line! See this thread for details.
Today I passed my SCWCD with 94%. The exam is easy in comparison to SCJP. You just need two things: 1o. SCWCD Study Kit, by Deshmukh and Malavia (read the book 3 times) 2o. Jwebplus You don't need any other mock exam. Sticking to jwebplus is enough!! No more studies... until tomorrow next, SCBCD (printing specification already).

Congratulations Andres I myself is of two minds. I can't decide if I should take SCWCD or SCJD. So it seems that SWCD is easy. Perhaps I should take this one first.

Thanks Ashish and Alton, I still remember us studying for SCJP . It depends on what you like. I love servlets/ejb's, etc.. If you're taking SCWCD first, you will be taking the new version, which is coming soon. It seems to be more difficult. [ November 02, 2003: Message edited by: Andres Gonzalez ]
Hi Alton (assuming you are still reading this thread)

If you need a certificate now (for job hunting / impressing your significant other / ???) then you will probably be able to get SCWCD faster than SCJD. If you are planning on taking both, then be aware that SCJD is an assignment, and there is a delay between handing in your assignment and getting your results (Sun say up to 6 weeks), so you could do the SCJD first, then do the SCWCD while you are waiting for your results.
