Hai all,
I took my exam yesterday and scored 85%. I lost most of my
thread questions. Otherwise the score would have been better. Overall the exam questions are cleverly made.
I would like to thank K & B for their excellent book. It covers all the exam objectives perfectly. Apart from that, a little knowledge about daemon threads, interrupt() and the methods in the Collections classes would help.
Thanks to Marcus green, Dan, javaranch. The actual
test is not as tough as Dan's. But it's good working it out to learn some of the key concepts. Also the posts really helped me a lot. So I might be able to do my contribution hereafter.
I had a question which had a choice saying, "JLS does not have explanation about this". Rest of the choices did not match the situation. So I really didn't know whether to choose this.
What next? And is there any order in which I should take
java certifications, like whatif I want to skip developer exam and do someother? I have worked a little in C++, VB, java
servlets, XML. Would ASP.net help? I welcome any suggestions.
Thank you.
