Check this. And this. I was really excited about the possibilities for this combination of Perl and Python - whatever happened to it? Does anyone know?
It was just as clear on April 1st, actually. In fact I had to google for it, since originally appeared in 2001 and was no longer being prominently displayed at the O'Reilly, Perl or Python sites. But I thought it deserved resurrection for anyone who might have missed it. Some of those code samples are just hilariously awful, aren't they? [ April 03, 2003: Message edited by: Jim Yingst ]

Hi all, The LINUX Magazine April 2003 issue contains a very nice in-depth article on Parrot, the currently-under-development virtual machine to be used by Perl, Python, Ruby, et al. I kid you not :-) Cheers, Darryl
