Explanation of SCJD grade?

I took the SCJD exam mid-November and now when I log into Sun's new certification site it shows that I failed the exam (the old site didn't show the exam at all). In my history, the exam event just says "Failed", but there are no comments and I have not received any email (or regular mail) from Sun.
I was wondering how is everyone else receiving the breakdown of their points and/or comments from the assessors for performance based exams?
Has anyone else failed this exam and if so, do you get any feedback as to why or do you only get feedback if you passed? Of course, if I did fail it I would really like to resubmit and try again but I would like some idea of where I went wrong.
Any information would be very helpful and most appreciated!
Thank you!

I see my grade as "failed" too and there is no explanation. I think there is something seriously wrong here. I uploaded the assignment on 3rd Dec and took the test on 1st Dec. When I checked the website on 9th Dec, the status is "failed". Then I sent an e-mail to sun on 10th Dec and the reply was generic "we are upgrading website... wait until Dec 10th".
So I am waiting for the e-mail. Looks little strange because how could someone even take a look at my assignment in less than a week and grade. There is no possible "automatic failure" in my case unless the uploaded file is missing or corrupted. BTW, I had hard-time uploading the assignment and had to wait for a week.
Good Luck !!

From what I have seen out here and in the SCJD forum, Sun typically gives some high level reasoning for automatic failure and also the breakdown of points in the other cases. I would assume that this information would be received via email.
Good luck, and please keep us posted what you find out!

Ravi Appala's reported that there are now 2 Sun sites:
From Sun:
We have launched two Certification databases. The Sun Certification I7
database manages all of your certification exams:
whereas the Assignment Watcher specifically monitors our two assignment
based exams:
You may only download and upload your assignments in the Assignment
Watcher. Furthermore, you may only view assignment comments in this
database. Only your score will appear in the Sun Certification I7 database.

So check what your score / status is in the sun assignment database. If you have really failed, then this is where it should tell you.
It is possible that the status of "failed" is due to a known problem with communications between Sun and Prometric. I have no idea what the problem is, but it seems that some people get a "failed" status after completing the exam but before the assignment is marked. It then gets changed to a "passed" score after the assignment is marked (hopefully ).
Regards, Andrew

Hi Andrew,
I have cheked the assignment status. It doesn't show the assignment marking. Interestingly, I tried to upload again and it allows me to do that.
It is frustrating that they don't even reply to the e-mails. What are my chances that I will get a fair evaluation ? There is no telephone number to reach and they don't reply to e-mails. The automatic reply says "don't e-mail about the same problem again". If this is how sun handles 100s of hours of efforts and sleepless nights, then I shouldn't have even considered to do the assignment. I should have probably considered .net.
Good luck everyone who is in dark just like me.

Hey Suds/Vannessa,
Please see my recent posting (5 minutes ago) on the SCJD forum. I have a feeling you folks are going to be OK.

I agree. Here's the link:
