In case it helps anyone.
What I studied:
Java exam book by Kathy, Bert. (read it once, it was funny reading (as fun as a Java exam book can be) - recommended).
Went through all three exams on the cd that accompanied the book about three times each. The last time I got around 88% on all exams, although I by then recognised half of the questions by just reading the answers
Spent around 5 hours on www.Danchisholm.net (would have spent more as this site is EXCELLENT, but it has been down since 5 days back, It was true horror when I got the DNS error trying to browse to the site 4 days prior to the exam, and each day since then...).
Took Marcus Green exam 2 (around 75%) and the one on his site for 1.4 exam (dunno the score for that as I did it in many parts).
Went through each individual section on www.javacertificate.com , it was quite good site, mostly to confirm to myself I was able to pass a live exam.
Huge Bacon & Egg breakfast prior to exam (certainly gave me 5% more on the score).

The thoughest part of the exam was definitely the tough/weird Thread code, I scored lowest on this objective. Other than that, it was slightly simpler than expected and most of the questions were straight forward (provided one knows Java ).

Good luck to all!

Yeah, just some additions.
on the www.javacertificate.com, I scored on average around 80-85% so it seems to be a good indicator on actual exam result.
The only exception being Threads. I though I knew them really well, I get the concept and all, but still scored bad on that section
I also got the impression that the exam did not contain that many "tricks", mostly obvious ones, but then again - I didn't get 100%

Huge Bacon & Egg breakfast prior to exam (certainly gave me 5% more on the score).
Good tip. I try to eat a whole bar of snickers before the exam
Certainly Helps

Anyway, CONGRATS
